As much as I adore all the Christmas festivities, lights, and cozy movie nights, I’m the first to admit that I don’t handle the gloomy cold weather well. Luckily, living in the south of the US I have easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches Mexico has to offer!

December-April is dry season in Tulum which means less rain and humidity and more gorgeous sunny days to soak up some Vitamin D! ☀️

If you visit, you can’t miss:
- exploring the Tulum ruins
- lounging at Playa Paraiso
- taking a wind surf lesson
- swimming in the countless cenotes
- sipping drinks at a beach club
- renting a bike through the hotel zone

Hi! I’m Ashley, a 30-year old travel enthusiast and sustainability advocate trying to leave the world a better place than I found it. When I’m not working my full-time job I try to squeeze in as much time as possible exploring this beautiful planet we call home.

I am a core believer of traveling with an open mind, stepping outside your comfort zone, and engaging as authentically as possible with every new place I explore. There’s no such thing as a “perfect” tourist, but I believe we can all do our part to be responsible global citizens. That means starting with individual change and encouraging your community (however big or small!) to do the same.
